Come speed scrap with me on Friday at 7:30pm EST. Grab a cold beverage and let's have some fun! I hope to "see" you then! We'll be right here in this thread when the time comes!
I have a great little giftie for you if you play along and get a layout done too! ![]() OK, I'm here. Got a bit of a late start since I dozed off after getting home from work! OOPS! I'll post a step about every 10 minutes. Layouts will need to be posted by 10pm EST to get the participation prize! I'll keep this posted updated and also reply with each new step. Step 1) Select 4 papers and 1 photo. Stack your papers to form a background. At least two of the papers need to "fall off" the page. Meaning that they should go beyond the edge to appear they were cut off at edges somehow. Step 2) Place your picture in a lower corner (right or left) of your layout and mat the picture with a "non-square" item. Perhaps a mask, a splat, a shape, etc. Step 3) Tuck 1-3 elements in between your layers of background papers so they are peeking out. Step 4) OK, create a cluster around your photo of 4-6 elements of your choice. You can place them on top, behind, or around. Whatever looks good to you! Step 5) Add one element - on the "bottom" of your layout but in the opposite corner from your photo. It needs to be on top of your paper layers. Define bottom loosely. Make it work for you! Step 6) Create your title in a top corner (either side). Your title needs to incorporate at least two elements in it besides the words. Step 7) Add journaling and/or a date near the photo. Add any final touches - drop shadows, etc. and then upload to the gallery and share it here! Remember, you have until 10pm EST (and I won't be that strict if there is anyone out there!). Oh, I'm going to try! I haven't speed scrapped in a while! That's a little early for me with the boys bedtimes, but I'll try to jump in mid-speed scrap!!

OK, sorry. Laid down after work and getting a late start but I'm here and ready to go!!! Sorry if you were looking earlier! I'll post directions about every 10 minutes here as well as updating the first post. You'll have an hour after that to finish your layout to get the participation prize. So, rounding, that means that the layouts need to be posted by 10pm EST.
