Speed Scrap - Friday, 4/9 @ 12 EST
Come join me for a speed scrap on Friday @ 12 EST, 9AM (PST) and 11AM (CST).
About 30 minutes before we begin! Here are some get ready guidelines 1. Have your program open when the speed scrap starts. 2. SAVE often! 3. F5 refreshes the page (PC and MAC users) 4. Don’t forget to link us up. 5. ESS products are not required but appreciated! 6. Ask questions and have FUN! Instructions 1. Pick a patterned paper and a grungy solid paper and layer them on your page. The solid should be on top of the pattern or vice versa. For an interesting effect, select a blending mode like overlay or soft light or multiply to merge your papers together. 2. Pick out 5 photos, yes 5 photos and arrange them on your page in a horizontal or vertical display. To make it more interesting, edit the photos by cropping them in ways to highlight different parts of the photo, not just the face you know. Your photos should be resized to fit your page. **You can duplicate one photo...only one! 3. I want you to frame these photos so search your stash for a multi-photo frame or 2 and frame your 5 photos. 4. Add some elements onto your page, concentrating on the frame and photo area. 5. Add some foilage (leaves or something) under your framing. 6. Add some sparkle to your page, it can be a cluster sparkle or create your own..just add something sparkly. 7. Add your journaling and/or a TITLE using an ALPHA and don't forget to add shadows, etc. Last edited by lauramarie; 04-09-2010 at 12:05 PM.
